The gleaming new three-story facility features an office building for staff, two auditorium-style meeting rooms, locker and equipment rooms, and a player and staff dining area. But the building’s most striking feature is its three-story atrium topped by a football-shaped copper roof. The 3,500 square-foot roof was installed under aggressive time constraints and in a challenging, limited space. Glaziers worked three stories up amid the wind and weather to install the oval roof that is shaped like the Chiefs’ beloved pigskin. |
